Every year in June we hold our Annual George Mark Open Bocce Tournament to raise funds for the George Mark Children’s House located in Castro Valley, CA.

George Mark Children’s House is a nonprofit organization and the first freestanding pediatric palliative care center to open in the United States.  George Mark Children’s House has been a leader in the pediatric palliative care movement since its inception in 2004.

The tournament is open to all.  We’ve had participants come from all over the bay area to play, compete, eat, socialize and just generally have fun.  All of the proceeds go directly to the George Mark House.  To date the Buon Tempo club has raised over $10,000 for this more than worthwhile charity.

The chairman and founder of the tournament is Ken Martin.

If you would like to participate or just watch, please contact Ken at cvbearhouse@gmail.com
